FLUIX Wins Best AI Venture at NLR Industry Growth Forum 2026

FLUIX AI wins Best AI Venture award at NLR Industry Growth Forum 2026 for grid-aware data center optimization technology

San Francisco, CA - [04/09/2026] - FLUIX AI wins Best AI Venture at the National Laboratory of the Rockies (NLR) Industry Growth Forum (IGF) 2026, a newly introduced category at one of the energy sector’s leading platforms connecting startups with investors, utilities, and industry leaders, after being selected from hundreds of applicants and pitching as one of seven finalists in front of a panel of more than 10 venture capital judges.

The Industry Growth Forum brings together more than 200 investors and energy stakeholders, with 52 companies selected from a pool of 273 applicants to present technologies shaping the future of energy infrastructure. FLUIX was among a select group of companies invited to present in the dedicated AI Track.

FLUIX is developing autonomous control systems that make data centers grid-aware by coordinating cooling, power, and compute in real time. As artificial intelligence workloads scale, data centers are increasingly constrained by power availability rather than hardware capacity, creating a new operational challenge for both operators and utilities.

“Power is becoming the limiting factor for AI infrastructure,” said Abhishek Sastri, Founder and CEO of FLUIX AI. “We built FLUIX to manage heat and power inside data centers so operators can run more compute without requiring additional electricity from the grid.”

FLUIX’s approach enables operators to increase compute density, improve energy efficiency, and align large-scale data center operations with grid conditions. This capability is increasingly important as utilities face growing demand from AI-driven workloads and must balance reliability, cost, and infrastructure constraints.

FLUIX participated in the Dominion Energy Innovation Center (DEIC) Hyperscaled Program, with support from Program Director Braden Croy, who was also in attendance at IGF. The program is designed to connect high-growth startups in the data center industry with utility and data center operators, providing direct exposure to the challenges of hyperscale growth and grid integration.

Participation in IGF 2026 provided FLUIX AI with the opportunity to engage directly with investors, utilities, and partners exploring new approaches to grid resilience, demand flexibility, and infrastructure optimization.

Winning the Best AI Venture Award reinforces the growing importance of AI-driven infrastructure in the energy ecosystem and provides FLUIX with access to NLR’s network of scientists and technical resources to further develop and validate its platform. The recognition also reflects strong conviction from a room of more than 200 venture capital investors, highlighting the urgency and market demand for solutions that make data centers flexible, predictable, and grid-aware.
